General -Information
Winston-Salem Information

Arrival and Departure
- To experience everything this conference has to offer, we recommend arriving on Wednesday, February 29 and departing on Sunday, March 4. Don't miss any of the conference by leaving early!
Air Travel
- Air travel to Winston-Salem is most convenient through the Triad International Airport (GSO) located in Greensboro, NC, which is 18 miles from the Convention Center.
Ground Transportation
- Attendees will be greeted by Ground Transportation services in the baggage claim area of Piedmont Triad International Airport during peak arrival hours. Winston-Salem is approximately 18 miles/25 minutes from the airport in Greensboro. If transport to Winston-Salem is desired, attendees will have the option to choose single taxi travel, van travel or rental car travel.
Hourly van transport to Winston-Salem will be available during peak arrival and departure hours. You will receive a special ACDA conference discount by presenting your ACDA membership card. At the baggage claim area, a transportation table will be set up. Attendees may pay for and request round trip transport. Receipt for this return trip fare constitutes a reservation. This reservation will be held in the attendees name with the return shuttle arriving at the requested hotel at the requested departure time following the conference. The round trip option is available during peak arrival hours and only available upon arrival for the conference.
For non-peak arrival hours you are directed to Ground Transportation at the airport. Triad Transport is available 24/7 from the first plane each day to the last. We have negotiated a special conference rate for our attendees. You will receive the special conference rate by presenting your ACDA membership card, see chart below for costs.
Regular estimated rates are:
Standard Single Occupant Taxi: $63 one way
Standard 10 passenger van: $63 per person, one way
ACDA Conference rate: $35 per person, round trip, 10 person van/4 person minimum
ACDA Conference rate: non peak hour 3 person taxi, $20 per person one way/$40 round trip. 4 or more persons receive van rate.

ACDA Shuttle
- ACDA will provide a shuttle to events in Old Salem. You must PRE-REGISTER for these events in order to attend.
Educational Credit
- ACDA offers registrants continuing education credit (CEU) as well as graduate credit through the University of Central Oklahoma. Visit acda.org for complete details and to register for credit.

- Conference attendees are responsible for making room reservations directly with the hotel of their choice. ACDA has secured special conference room rates at the hotels listed below.
